After taking members' comments under advisement, the FSE Board of Directors has decided to revise and clarify the rule regarding the value of virtual Game World currency, as well as the ability to buy, trade, or sell Game World assets for non-Game World assets.

In short:
1. It is no longer allowed to use real world physical items for buying, selling, trading, or otherwise acquiring virtual assets or virtual currency within the FSE Game World.

All Auctions currently in progress may continue to their natural conclusion; however, all For-Sale Listings not completed as of the time of this post are hereby null and void, and all threads have been deleted. No new threads may be started on these items, as of now.

2. It is still allowed to use digital items for buying, selling, trading, or otherwise acquiring FSE Game World virtual assets or virtual currency, provided that
- A: the digital item is directly related to FSE Game Play.
- B: the digital item was created by the seller
- C: the buyer is not authorized to re-sell the digital item for real world currency or real world items.

Items allowed by #2 are things like aircraft re-paints with the buyer's FSE company logo or tail #, 3rd party tools, websites designed for other members to host their FSE comapny, subscriptions to access the seller's website or other digital service, etc. (the preceding list probably does not cover every possible example)

Items prohibited by the above are websites created for someone's use outside of the FSE game play experience, software development for someone's use outside of the FSE game play experience, other digital services provided for someone's use outside of the FSE game play experience, etc. (the preceding list probably does not cover every possible example)

The Terms of Service, specifically rule #4, has been modified to read as follows:

Any earnings or assets within the FSEconomy system are purely virtual and are the sole property of FSE. There is no real-world value to them and they may be terminated, revoked, or altered at any time and at the sole discretion of FSE. Virtual assets within FSE, to include aircraft, FBOs, commodities, or virtual currency may not be sold, purchased, or traded for real currency, physical items, or digital items not directly related to FSE Game Play.
